“We cannot recommend our dog sitter, Jo at Ashby Happy Hounds highly enough.  She is absolutely fantastic and genuinely cares about the dogs that she looks after.  Jo took wonderful care of our Labrador, Indigo, while we were away, treating her as if she was her own.  On one occasion when Indigo wasn’t feeling well, she didn’t hesitate to take her to the vets and stayed with her the entire time until we were able to arrive ourselves.  That level of dedication and compassion meant the world to us and showed just how responsible and caring she is. 

She provides regular walks, gives the dogs lots of love and attention and it’s clear how much she truly loves dogs, especially as she and her husband have dogs of their own.  Knowing Indigo was in such safe, caring hands gave us complete peace of mind.  We now leave our Springer Spaniel puppy, Alfie, in their capable, caring hands.

“Our Milo is 6 & a half months now and has been going to Ashby Happy Hounds for around 2 and a half months. We needed a doggy daycare because of our work hours but it was hard finding someone to trust to look after our fur baby. We was recommended Jo and when we met her we both felt so at ease. We knew we wanted somewhere that felt homely and not robotic which is exactly how Jo is, she looks after Milo as if he is her own.

Milo loved meeting her dogs and she is excellent with him. He runs down her driveway when I drop him off with his tail wagging & we get lots of photos throughout the day and he is always having the best time! He has come on leaps and bounds and has learnt lots from the other dogs! He’s so well looked after and Jo’s experience with dogs just puts me at ease because I know he’s in great hands whilst we are working.

Jo is very accommodating with her hours and very reasonable with her prices! She books fields & takes him round lakes, he plays in ball pits and she encourages nap time! Milo loves going and we are very grateful to have found Ashby Happy Hounds!”
